Hi all,

Wow, really heartbreaking news from last night! I haven't been able to 
make it to SALA meetings because of my schedule :( But wanted to pass on 
some info about a local (Eugene) group formed recently, "Standing with 
Standing Rock". They've been having weekly/biweekly meetings and helped 
organize the protest/march last Tuesday.

Their next meeting is this Wednesday night at 7pm in the Grower's Market 
building, 2nd floor (entrance near Morning Glory cafe). I know many of 
you are traveling but if you're in town and want to join me, I'll be 
going. I can keep sending out info about future meeting dates/times. 
I'll also ask if they're OK with me adding people to their Facebook 
group, so contact me if you'd like to be added there to keep up with 
details and any future actions.
