<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">This is my last Weekly email to you in my capacity as Dean and I am filled with gratitude to you for the opportunity to lead and serve our College. Over the past 3+ years we have grown our programs, our research
portfolio, our community partnerships, our faculty, and our impact. Each of you have played a role in cultivating a community of inclusion, respect, and joy. The year ahead will bring challenges known and unknown; however, as a college we are strong and are
grounded in our purpose and mission. I know that we can thrive during a time of significant change. I will be watching and cheering from a distance. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

Emily Tanner-Smith</a> and her willingness to lead the college in this moment. Emily is a well-respected leader in the COE community and has strong relationships with leaders across campus. Thank you for supporting her as she guides our college through the

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">CPHS was awarded an “Effective Teaching in Policy and Practice Implementation Grant” from the Office of the Provost. Coordinated by Heather Leonard (PREV program director) and Abbie Sanders (PREV doctoral
student), the grant will provide a 2-day training this fall in proactive circles and restorative justice practices. Through this training, faculty in CPHS and other COE departments will be better equipped to create learning spaces that support student belonging,
engagement, and resilience, and foster more consistent, community-oriented approaches to conflict resolution, feedback, and collective decision-making. All participants who complete the training will receive a micro-credential certificate from the University
