<p class="MsoNormal">Hello from Kansas City, MO. I’m traveling this week attending a conference for a few days. I am absolutely invigorated by the passion, energy, and ideas generated by students, postdocs, and early career faculty. At a time when we need
our next generation of innovators and leaders, I am seeing them show up and show out. It’s a happy reminder as to why I entered into education in the first place. Our work can be incredibly challenging, and at times the incentives just aren’t there. When you
have these moments – as we all do from time to time – remember your why. Remember what brought you here – to this place, to the work.
