<p class="MsoNormal">The email below will be sent to all COE students this week, providing details about the COE and University Commencement activities. The COE Ceremony will be held from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on the South Lawn behind Knight Library. I am happy
to make class visits if you have a course with graduating students who have questions. Just let me know!<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">For those programs wishing to host internal receptions for students prior to the June 17<sup>th</sup> ceremony, the university would ask that 1) They be held no later than Friday, June 14<sup>th</sup> (no Saturday or Sunday events); and
2) That they be called a ‘reception,’ not a ceremony or a commencement. If your program is having a reception, please let me know. We’ll keep a list of these at our SAS front desk for anyone who calls with questions.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">In past years, we have found a couple of ways to make the COE ceremony unique to us with the addition of a Mariachi band, multilingual welcomes, and an undergraduate research poster display. We hope to continue those new traditions and
maybe add others. If you have any suggestions for this year, please let me know.<o:p></o:p></p>
