<p class="MsoNormal">I am writing to encourage you to consider serving on the University Senate and/or one of its committees. As you know, the Senate is a critical component of our university's governance, and it plays a significant role in shaping some of
our institution's policies and practices.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">By serving on the Senate, you will have the opportunity to contribute to important decisions that affect our university community. You will work with colleagues from across the university, representing different departments and disciplines,
to develop proposals, review policies, and make recommendations that help advance our mission.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Beyond the opportunity to contribute to the university's governance, serving on the Senate is also an excellent way to engage in service, gain leadership experience, and broaden your university network. This may be especially valuable to
