I just returned from a round of development work in the San Francisco Bay Area to see that we have a new
video streaming on our website landing page. The video is designed to be visually appealing, inclusive of ample greenery, lovely drone footage of Lokey, HEDCO, walkways, and an uplifting view of the Cascade Range.
(By the way, our previous landing page video was shot in 2019.) The overarching goal is to invite prospective students to take a closer look at our academic programs, which we know is occurring. For example, the 30-day summary with change over previous period
shows that the COE Twitter and Facebook accounts have had an increase of 51.5% in mentions, and an increase of 26.3% in followers and profile visits. We also have an average of
71,000 content engagements for September 2021, compared to 17,000 engagements in September 2020, and only 7,100 in September 2019. In the last 30 days, the COE Instagram has increased 120% in content interactions with 940 total posts and 1,583 followers.

Emily Barker led the work on our new video along with Juls Davis, and in collaboration with Andrea Olson and student volunteers. Our video contractor collected a considerable amount of footage on this day, which you will see appearing in
new still shots throughout the website as needed to enhance the appeal of our digital presence. I am most grateful to
Juls Davis and Emily Barker for their highly skilled and professional website and social media work.

Returning to the development work of this past weekend, it was as inspiring as ever to meet with our impressive alumni. Their accomplishments are world class, including national and international leadership in counseling psychology, special
education, curriculum and instruction, educational technology, and other fields. These visits always provide a vivid reminder of the importance of the work we do every day.
