<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">In coordination with the IMT, I am reaching out to you with an urgent request for your assistance with recruiting employees to assist in staffing the UO COVID-19 testing initiative as part of screening testing
of residence hall students. To ensure our COVID-19 testing is achievable and as seamless as possible, we need adequate staffing to support students. This initiative is one of the top priorities we as a university should be collectively focused on regardless
of our regular work, and this initiative is an excellent way to get involved. <o:p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The testing events start October 13 and run through October 15, thus time is of the essence. The employee sign-up process has begun, but so far the number of positions filled will not be sufficient to fully
staff these large scale events. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i><span style="font-size:12.0pt">We ask each of you to work in your portfolio to obtain employees who can assist with this effort.</span></i></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"> Up to 30 staff members total are needed. Specifically,
6 employees are needed for each of the 5 shifts (each shift is 5 hours).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo3"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Shift assignment</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"> – During their shift, employees assisting will be actively engaged in supervising student employees, checking-in
students for testing, and providing building directions for the testing process. They may be required to take a 20 minute online HIPAA training courses. Safety of those being tested and working at the event has been thoroughly planned to allow a comfortable
process for all. <o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo3"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Compensation
</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt">– Employees will be considered on work time during their participation and will receive their regular compensation for hours worked. Please note for non-exempt employees time will count towards time worked for overtime
