<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;color:black">We are pleased to provide you with this brief annual reporting of our college’s sponsored projects awards for fiscal year 2020, which ended June 30. The quality, breadth and impact of the research,
service, and instructional contributions represented by these awards are the strongest driver of our ranking as one of the top five public university colleges of education in the nation. In addition, the high regard for your accomplishments enhances the value
of the degrees that our students earn.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;color:black">These external awards support 550 jobs and have an economic impact throughout Oregon. Internally, over $1.5 Million was returned to the university in FY 2020 in innovation partnership fees, other
fees, and royalty income from assessments, curricula, software, interventions, apps, and other educational and human services innovations.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
