<p><span style="font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">The Ally Workgroup (a subcommittee of the Climate, Culture, and Equity Committee) will be starting up its second equity book club (the first was Dr. Bettina Love's
<em><span style="font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">We Want to Do More than Survive</span></em>). This time we will read Dr. David Campt's
<em><span style="font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">Compassionate Warrior Boot Camp for White Allies
</span></em>(2018). It's an engaging, active read, with one brief (under 20-min.) activity a day for 30 days. We're going to read it once per workday, with Day 1 on September 14, Day 6 on September 21, and so on, continuing to the end of October. I've found
it practical and useful for disrupting bias and microaggressions across work and personal life.
