Subject: COE 2026 Commencement Ceremony

Hello,
This information will be going out to all COE students to provide information about commencement activities. The main UO Commencement Ceremony and the College of Education Commencement Ceremony will both be held on Monday, June 15, 2026.

COE Ceremony
Our COE ceremony, where students walk across the stage and have their name read, will take place at Hayward Field from 1:00-3:00 pm on Monday, June 15. Because there is plenty of seating, no tickets are necessary, and students can have as many family and friends attend as they wish. However, we would like students to RSVP for the ceremony so we can gather some information about how many graduating students will be participating and include student names in our list of graduates. Please click here<https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d6Adqmdd6Jwteke> to RSVP for the COE Ceremony. Have questions about the ceremony? Please visit the COE Commencement page<https://education.uoregon.edu/commencement> for information and updates.

University Commencement Ceremony
The university's official commencement ceremony starts at 9:00 am, Monday, June 15 at Autzen Stadium. All graduates are welcome to bring as many friends and family members as they would like-no tickets will be required, but they would like you to RSVP so they can get a count of attendees. Visit https://commencement.uoregon.edu/ for full details on the ceremony, parking for the day and campus activities.

Grad Week at the Duck Store
Regalia is available now online at https://www.uoduckstore.com/graduation-packages<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.uoduckstore.com/graduation-packages__;!!C5qS4YX3!Bj81WdjVmvN0-5We3YZ1EQnxCmARHrDiaEDrrCNc7yZQf1eVaAbxejR6js7XXd5Sh4ObACigaecAj3G6H7bZ9w$>. The Duck Store Grad Fest, with in person vendors, will be April 6-8. Caps, gowns, and a wide array of other regalia and memorabilia will be available. Early order packages include a Duck Store gift card. Regalia needs to be ordered by June 5 to ensure timely delivery.

Don't Forget to Apply For Your Degree
In order to receive a diploma from the Registrar's Office (these are mailed about 6 weeks after the end of the term in which a student declares to graduate) you need to declare your intent to graduate.

If you are planning to graduate this spring, you must apply for your degree by April 26, 2026, for undergraduates, and by April 10, 2026 for graduate students.

Applying for your degree is different from opting in to participate in commencement. In order to receive a degree and get mailed your diploma, you must apply on DuckWeb<https://duckweb.uoregon.edu/> or GradWeb<https://gradweb.uoregon.edu/>.

Visit our FAQ<https://education.uoregon.edu/commencement-frequently-asked-questions> page for frequently asked questions. Also, please feel free to stop by my office at HEDCO 130 or email me at lfortin at uoregon.edu<mailto:lfortin at uoregon.edu> with any questions not answered there.

Congratulations to our graduates!

Thanks,
Lisa
