Hello COE Faculty and Staff!

With over 💲one million dollars💲in donated funds available for qualified College of Education students each academic year, it is important for the Office of Development to work directly with faculty and staff to ensure students who need funding are aware of the existing and new mechanisms we have created to help students when and how they need it most.

This year the Office of Development is excited to announce the return of multiple funding mechanisms available for students and made possible through donor gifts.

To be allocated to one or more students in jeopardy of not registering for next term's classes.

Amounts for each program are currently being determined but will relate directly to the requirements of graduate programs to have their students present at conferences or take additional 'coursework' outside the University of Oregon.

COE Graduation Cost Funds<https://forms.office.com/r/0XmLiL4YRi> - Many graduate students finish their academic careers with the need to pay out of pocket for licensure, background checks, certificates, or exams in order to enter the professional field after the completion of academic studies. It is our goal to fund every graduate student that demonstrates financial need as determined by the UO to cover these costs!

Student self-nominates; Counseling Psychology Department reviews and awards.

Although donor funding is limited and often times restricted to specific uses, it is the Office of Development's intention to award and distribute donated funds equitably, efficiently, and enthusiastically to students. It is also our intention to demonstrate the impact of these funding mechanisms through storytelling, sustaining the ongoing investment in the success of our students.
