coe-staff: UO 2025 Charitable Fund Drive

Hello,
The Charitable Fund Drive is an annual, combined charitable giving campaign tailored to meet the needs and wishes of employees of the state of Oregon. The Charitable Fund Drive helps state employees create the future each of you wants to see become a reality in Oregon. Whether you care about Oregon's animals, arts and culture, environment, equity and human rights, health, housing, families, or anything else - there is a nonprofit working for these ideals.  Donations can be made starting now through December 31, 2025.

The attached CFD Giving Guide outlines participating charities and giving instructions.  Click here to go to the online donation page<https://ipledgeonline.org/_cfduniversities/> – scroll down for detailed login instructions.  If you prefer to submit your donation by paper, fill out the attached form or the one in the CFD Giving Guide and bring it to HEDCO 130.  Employees may donate online (credit card, payroll deduction, or e-check) or by completing a payroll deduction paper/pdf form and bring it to Lisa Fortin in HEDCO 130. Please note cash and checks are no longer accepted.

When you contribute to the Charitable Fund Drive, 100% of your contribution goes to the organizations you designate. The Fund Drive always keeps administrative costs below 10% of the dollars raised. Fund Drive costs are paid by the umbrella groups raising donations through the Fund Drive, NOT by the state of Oregon.  Administrative costs are never withheld from employee donations.

Charitable Fund Drive Progress

Our top 3 supporting agencies and the number of pledges they have received:

  *   Oregon Department of Human Services is in the lead with 22 pledges and over $15,000
  *   Oregon Department of Revenue with 41 pledges and over $14,000
  *   Oregon Department of Transportation with 17 pledges and over $9,000

Community Highlights

Big thanks to Killer Burger! We are thrilled to share that Killer Burger locations across Oregon stepped up in a big way for this year’s Charitable Fund Drive! During the first week of October, they dedicated an entire week to raising funds, generously donating 30% of their proceeds to support the CFD.
Thanks to Killer Burger’s generosity and the community’s love of great burgers, this partnership helped us raise $600 statewide and showed how local businesses can make a huge impact when they rally behind a cause.
