Dear COE Community,
It's been a busy term navigating myriad changes on campus, at the state and federal levels, and of course in our communities. Thank you all for you many contributions to our students and to each other. I especially want to call out our department heads and ROC directors for navigating many of these challenges and supporting faculty, staff, and students in their units. Despite the challenges of the term, we have accomplished many things and I would love for each of us to take 5 minutes and thank a colleague for something that they've done that has made a positive difference in the College of Education.
It's clear that the spring will bring many more challenges - both known and unknown - and I ask for your grace as we move forward together. Be kind to yourself and others, take the opportunity to listen, and celebrate the small accomplishments because it's a good reminder that we are not stagnant, but active, ever moving forward enacting our mission.
Wishing you all a great wrap up to finals week and a restorative break.
Warmly,
Laura Lee
