Updates and Upcoming
UO Outstanding Research Awards
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI), the Office of the Provost, and the Graduate School annually host and sponsor the UO Outstanding Research, Teaching, and Mentorship Awards. The OVPRI is currently soliciting nominations for the Outstanding Research Awards program<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/uoregon.us17.list-manage.com/track/click?u=89533593a0b1948a564f1c1b6&id=a1eb4ade08&e=3f013e3a3e__;!!C5qS4YX3!EmHIeGtVo_yICdduJFW40EPrMZWCLgYNsXf8SBgk6bv8T8piTUQIUP6ygN7sWmNMSs0kWQpnT4gA6anh$>. Awards are given for tenure-track faculty, career faculty, and staff. Awardees receive commendation from the OVPRI and $1,000 for an individual or $2,500 for a team in research support, a recognition memento, and a highlight of their work in internal and external communications. Please read the call for nominations on the website linked above for full details on the nomination process. The nominations or self-nominations are due no later than April 9, 2025.

Call for Graduating Student Spotlights
The University Communications social media team is looking for outstanding graduating students (both undergraduates and graduate) to feature in their graduating student spotlights leading up to commencement. Nominations Open for 2025 University Leadership and Service Awards

  *   UO Senate Classified Staff Leadership Award recognizes a classified employee who is a leader in one or more of these areas-personal and professional development, a respectful work environment, or diversity. Makes "a difference through their actions and through collaborative relationships."

  *   UO Senate Leadership and Service Award for Officers of Administration recognizes the outstanding leadership and exemplary service of an officer of administration over a period of years. Must be committed to shared governance and participatory decision-making and must foster inclusiveness, respect and professional excellence.

Nominations can be submitted on the UO Senate Awards website<https://senate.uoregon.edu/awards> and are due Friday April 11.

Dr. Dickson's work focuses on improving the quality and effectiveness of community services for youth and families. Her research centers on the integration of factors key to evidence-based practices effectiveness and implementation, development and application of implementation science methods in research and practice, and community-partnered efforts to reduce disparities and improved equitable receipt of care.
