 Dear COE Community,

This is a particularly challenging time for higher education as we navigate funding cuts and other obstacles. I wish to appreciate and acknowledge faculty and staff who continue to stay focused on our mission and our values. Find joy and meaning in the day-to-day aspects of our work and support the efforts of others in our community. This week our COE development team and I will be meeting with our College of Education Advisory Council in Portland. This group of individuals is dedicated to advocating and advancing the College of Education and our students, faculty, and staff. Their enthusiasm and interest in us and our work is contagious. I'm excited to share key takeaways from the meeting in another weekly message.

Thank you for your work and for making our college special.

Warmly,
Laura Lee
