We are excited to invite you to the inaugural 2024 Dan Reschly Distinguished Lecture. Please join us as the College of Education hosts Dr. Kathleen Lynne Lane as she shares her thoughts on how educational leaders design, implement, and evaluate Comprehensive, Integrated, Three-tiered (Ci3T)
models of prevention in PreK-12 schools.

The Dan Reschly Distinguished Lecture series brings renowned research experts to campus to discuss topics related to the prevention/intervention of problems in educational achievement, behavior disorders, disability status and mental health challenges with children and youth.

We encourage you to not only attend but also to promote this event to your students, as Kathleen Lynne Lane’s insights will provide valuable knowledge with our student community.

Meet Kathleen Lynne Lane

Kathleen Lynne Lane is a Roy A. Roberts Distinguished Professor in
the Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas and
Associate Vice Chancellor for Research. Dr. Lane’s research interests
focus on designing, implementing, and evaluating Comprehensive,
Integrated, Three-tiered (Ci3T) models of prevention in PreK-12
schools to (a) prevent the development of learning, behavior, and
social and emotional well-being challenges and (b) respond to
existing instances, with an emphasis on systematic screening. She
is the co-editor of Remedial and Special Education and principal
investigator on the following grants funded by the Institute of
Education Sciences: Project Enhance (Network) and Project Engage
(Pandemic Impact). Dr. Lane has co-authored or edited 14 books and
published 242 refereed journal articles and 56 book chapters.
