Dear COE Community,

I’ve spent the last few days at the CADREI conference, a leadership conference for academic deans in education. These meetings allow for peer-to-peer mentorship and support and an exchange of ideas and information outside of our typical siloed institutions. And I would be remiss if I didn’t say that my mood was just a bit brighter when interacting with the Ohio State Dean. We both agreed that it was a good game on Saturday! Go Ducks!

After spending a few days away, I feel truly delighted to be returning to the Pacific Northwest and a College of Education that is truly innovative and field-leading. Our work and the impact it has on students at our institution and in our communities is a testament to the contributions each of you make. Thank you for bringing your whole self to our work. It remains such a privilege to serve you and our college.

Warmly,
Laura Lee
