Dear COE Community,
Hello from Washington, DC where I am participating in a LEARN Coalition meeting and advocating on Capitol Hill with fellow AAU Deans for education research funding. Part of what I can share with legislators is how US Department of Education/IES research funds make a difference in the lives of children and youth in our communities. Our COE faculty are engaged in such impactful work that I have no shortage of stories to share about the ways in which enhanced funding benefits our children and makes for a healthier, more equitable society. Thank you for the education research that you are engaged in and for being ambassadors to our COE with every grant, community partnership, and outreach activity you participate in! Your work matters for Oregon (and beyond).
Warmly,
Laura Lee
