Dear COE Community,

Welcome to Spring term! I hope you had a bit of time to relax and regroup last week. For those working over Spring Break, I sincerely hope it was a lighter and quieter week. We are now in our final stretch before the end of the academic year and time is racing. How is it April already?

I want to thank you for helping the College of Education achieve some remarkable accomplishments this year – we’ve hired numerous tenure track faculty (six!) and have diversified and broadened our expertise, we’ve engaged in major policy revision work, we’ve admitted graduate students, we are working toward equitable practices and processes, transparency, and clarity of expectations in both big and small ways. We are also committed to cultivating a sense of belonging, connection, and relationship to the work, to each other, and the larger communities we serve.

Thanks for being a part of this journey.

Warmly,

Laura Lee
