Dear COE Community,

Welcome to Fall 2023! Campus is bustling and it’s wonderful to see our students in our classrooms, in our hallways, and spilling out across campus. Thank you to all our amazing academic program coordinators (APCs) for assisting faculty and students as we’ve launched into fall quarter. Many programs, units, and departments had some form of orientation or social. Our APCs are the backbone that hold these events together. Thank you for your efforts! It goes without saying that fall is a busy time for us. Speaking of events, huge shout out to Lisa Fortin for organizing such a lovely Dean’s Welcome Lunch last week. I believe we had a record crowd and even saw some attendees picnic on the lawn due to limited seating. Thank you all for making this COE community special – one where all belong.

Warmly,
Laura Lee
