Upcoming Event
Join us on February 23, 2022, 3-5pm PST, for a virtual symposium focused on Cascades Glacier and Water Resilience. Hosted by the University of Oregon Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation, Just Futures Institute, Earth Sciences Department, Environmental Studies Program, and the Environment Initiative, this symposium will bring together researchers and environmental practitioners in the Cascades region to define areas of research that can contribute to climate adaptation and greater climate justice surrounding issues of glaciers and water.

Given the shared goal of the Environment Initiative and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation to further this important work, the units are collaborating to sponsor the Environment Initiative Seed Funding Program, which consists of 2 award mechanisms: Research Awards and Curriculum Awards.
