coe-staff: AY2022 Institutional Hiring Plan released

Dear College of Education community,

The provost just released the institutional hiring plan (IHP) for AY 2022-23. This plan details all approved tenure track faculty searches for the 2022-23 academic year. As of today, this year's plan authorizes 57 tenure-track faculty searches (40 new searches and 17 searches that will continue from this year, if needed). More information can be found on the Provost's page of the UO website (https://provost.uoregon.edu/ay2022-23-institutional-hiring-plan).

The College of Education has been granted one TTF search through the AY2022 IHP - the Education Data Science/Quantitative Research Methods open rank position (associate/full professor). This faculty position is endowed with the generous support of Dave and Nancy Petrone and is part of the Presidential Data Science Initiative. I will be working with department leadership on the search launch and will  form the search committee and take other steps to launch the search as soon as possible.

I wish to thank faculty, department heads, and the collective college-wide efforts that went into the proposal development process  this year. I look forward to advocating for additional, much needed hires for the COE in future IHP rounds.
