Dear Faculty and Staff,

[cid:image005.png at 01D745B5.17447B00]Just a few more days until Ducks Give, the University of Oregon's sixth annual giving day on Thursday, May 13!

Thank you to all the COE faculty and staff who have helped with the planning and inspiration behind our Ducks Give campaign. This year, we're raising funds for recruitment scholarships.

I'm excited to share we have five confirmed challenge gifts worth more than $125,000 to be unlocked during the day of giving. Challenge gifts this year support initiatives and programs including:
*         Increasing diversity in the CDS student cohort
*         Sapsikwala Teacher Education program
*         Kenneth Erickson Scholarship for EMPL students
*         Scholarships for underrepresented and first-generation students

Ducks Give is important as it's our primary way of acquiring new annual donors and that's why we put so much effort into the event each year.

You can help.

To be successful, Ducks Give needs the help of people like you. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

  1.  Make a gift (or multiple gifts) on May 13! Help unlock challenge gifts and increase your impact during Ducks Give. https://ducksgive.uoregon.edu/giving-day/35893/department/35897
  2.  Tell your friends and family! Become an Ambassador. Ambassadors help spread the word, usually via social media and email. Visit the Ducks Give website<https://ducksgive.uoregon.edu/giving-day/35893/signup> to sign up and access custom links to share on social media, use graphic templates, and track your fundraising success.
  3.  Take part in the virtual events throughout the day on May 13. There will be three morning wellness breaks at 8, 9, and 10 am, a student panel at noon, an Oregon-inspired music playlist featuring inspirational quotes from UO Athletics coaches at 4 pm, and the Pioneer Awards ceremony at 6:30 pm. There will be links to these events on the Ducks Give site (ducksgive.uoregon.edu<https://ducksgive.uoregon.edu/giving-day/35893>) on May 13.
