The following message is sent on behalf of COE SOURCE:
Dear COE Community,
A quick reminder as you head into your Spring Break.
This Winter, we opened submissions for the Virtual Art Exhibit entitled " Voices for Equity: Intent vs Impact" that will be held virtually by SOURCE (Students of Underrepresented Races, Cultures, and Ethnicities) on May 6th, 2021.
This exhibit will provide a forum to share the stories and experiences of individuals who have experienced discrimination, microaggressions, or other subtle acts of exclusion based on their identity as part of their journey in pursuit of higher education. This virtual art exhibit is intended to provide a safe outlet for the college and University of Oregon's community members, to support awareness and contribute to improving the climate by providing real examples of the experiences that we hope to change.
This is a reminder to submit your art (poem, essay, quote, painting, sculpture, musical composition) or other visual/literary artistic expression by April 5th. Any COE or other UO community member may submit entries. Submissions will be accepted through April 5th, 2021.
Here is the link to submit entries https://blogs.uoregon.edu/source/vfe2021/vfe-submit/
For more information about SOURCE or to find the dates for future meetings, check the SOURCE website https://blogs.uoregon.edu/source/ .
