The following message is sent on behalf of the students of COE SOURCE:
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
The COE SOURCE group will be hosting an event for all interested College of Education students, faculty, and staff this Friday June 12th at 2:00 - 3:30 via zoom. This will be an opportunity to jointly reflect on recent and historic injustices resulting in the loss of Black lives, and on our individual and joint roles in being part of a change that ends the pervasive and insidious racial injustices that permitted those atrocities to occur and continue.
Note: This event will not have a formal agenda of speakers but is an opportunity for all participants to engage, share, listen, and reflect as a college in a shared moment of solidarity as we move forward in this moment following the many murders represented in the recent murder of George Floyd.
We ask that all participants contribute to creating a helpful, inclusive, and supportive, non-discriminatory space for all involved.
In solidarity,
Current members of the Students of Underrepresented Races, Cultures, and Ethnicities Group
