Dear Faculty and Staff,
I regret having to write to you today and inform you of the resignation of Deanna Linville. Her departure will be effective June, 2021. Deanna has dedicated most of her 17 years with us to leadership of our well-respected Couples and Family Therapy master’s degree program, inclusive of her long-term service as academic program director. She has provided vision and leadership for the program, aligned the curriculum with national accreditation standards, and strengthened research training for CFT students.
In recognition of her instructional and academic leadership contributions, Deanna received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the International Institute of Couples and Family Therapy in 2019 and the Distinguished Excellence in Teaching Award from our college in 2018. Deanna has been a valued research collaborator for faculty across the college – in CPHS, Communication Disorders and Sciences, and the Center for Equity Promotion, to name a few. Please join me in expressing our collective gratitude to Deanna for her contributions. Personally, I wish her well in the next stages of her career.
Randy
