Dear COE community,
Please join me in congratulating our colleagues on the following new research awards at the COE:
Ann Glang, at the Center on Brain Injury Research and Training, will receive 2019-2023 funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the project, "Evaluation of Return to School Programs for Traumatic Brain Injury." COE collaborators on this project include Daniel Anderson, Jeff Gau, Doug Gomez, and Deanne Unruh.
Wendy Machalicek, at Educational and Community Supports, will receive 2020-2023 funding from the Institute of Education Sciences for the project, "Improving the Accessibility of Design Comparable Effect Size Metrics for Single Case Research."
Wendy Machalicek, at Educational and Community Supports, will receive 2020-2024 funding from the Office of Special Education Programs for the project, "Project CO-LEAD: Leaders in Evidence Based Practices, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Diversity."
John Seeley, at the Center on Human Development, will receive 2019-2023 funding from the National Institute of Mental Health for the project, "3/4 Adapting Treatments for Suicidal College Students: A Multisite Trial."
Fatima Terrazas Arellanes, at the Center for Equity Promotion, will receive 2020-2023 funding from the Office of Special Education Programs for the project, "ESCOLAR (Etext Supports for Collaborative Online Learning and Academic Reading) Science Units for Upper Elementary School."
Deanne Unruh and Ann Glang, at the Secondary Special Education and Transition Program and the Center on Brain Injury Research and Training, will receive 2019-2022 funding from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research for the project, "Project B-JUST: Brain Injury & Juvenile Services Training: Empirically Defining Training Needs and Competencies for Juvenile services Personnel for Young Offenders with TBI."
Stephanie Wood, at the Center for Equity Promotion, will receive 2019-2020 funding from the U.S. Department of Interior National Park Service for the project, "Curriculum Development and Dissemination: Honoring the Shared History of the Trail."
