Mark Schneider, IES Director, also gave a hour-long presentation. His thoughts about future IES opportunities are reflected in his blog. He did foreshadow an off-cycle RFA in March or April on the topic of increasing the capacity of school district administrators and research directors to use data to guide decision-making. He also reiterated his call for grant submissions aimed at post-secondary and adult education.
