coe-staff: space heaters and devices in offices

I have had several requests for space heaters in our complex.  CPFM has changed their policy as to how they are distributed as reflected in the attached portable space heater safety sheet.  If your office is cold, please email me and I will initiate the process on your behalf.  For a reference point, our occupied  heating set point is between 69-72 degrees from 7am-9pm M-F.  This does not mean that your office will be 71 from 7a-9pm every day, only when the space is occupied.  When an office is unoccupied during normal business hours, the standby heating set point is 65 degrees.  So if you leave your office at 11am and return at 7:30pm, expect your space to be cooler because we only heat occupied space spaces.  When the system switches from standby heating to occupied heating, it can take some time 10-15 minutes to get the space up to set point.

The second attachment is in regards to office electrical hazards as we have seen an increase in the amount of kitchen appliances in offices.  Please review and remove ALL unapproved electronic devices from your space.
