Don't wait until the last minute to submit a nomination for the COE Faculty and Staff Awards. Please take a moment to reflect on the great work your colleagues do and submit a nomination to share their outstanding work with others. Nominations are due by 5:00 pm May 20, 2019. Click here to make a nomination<https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bluuq6YHdOXVMQ5>. Awards will be presented at the Faculty and Staff Picnic on Friday, June 7.
Nominations are accepted from students, faculty, officers of administration, and staff connected to the COE. To submit a nomination, you will need 2 things:
? A completed nomination form
? A letter of support from another person. This can be as simple as 2-3 bullet points, just something that gives us a second way to look at the nominee.
The form is online and easy to complete<https://oregon.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bluuq6YHdOXVMQ5>. For the letter of support, you can email it directly to lfortin at uoregon.edu <mailto:lfortin at uoregon.edu> or attach it at the bottom of the nomination form.
A nomination will not be considered without both the form and the accompanying letter of support from a second person.
Please be as detailed as possible in your submission materials. Use concrete examples to support your statements (i.e., don't say, "She always celebrates diversity;" say, "She is responsible for organizing the school's first multicultural training, an annual Cinco de Mayo celebration and organized assemblies featuring speakers of different cultural backgrounds.").
The awards committee can only consider the information you provide us in our decisions as we do not rely on any personal knowledge committee members may have about a nominee, so please share details with us.
Below is the list of folks who nominated themselves or were nominated for the committee. COE Faculty and Staff Awards Committee Members are not eligible to receive these awards or submit nominations during their time of service on the committee.
