coe-staff: Locating Archived COE Website Following New Website Launch Monday, February 18

Hello all,

We hope you checked out the COE’s new web presence yesterday and are liking what you see!

As promised, we are still keeping the previous website in archive for a year until February 2020. This site can be accessed at the following link from anywhere on campus or via VPN access:
https://olded.uoregon.edu

If you are looking for a link to a specific page or document that had been located on the previous college of education site, you can find it by changing the first part of the URL from “education” to “olded”.

For example, if you wanted to retrieve a PDF file and its previous URL was:  https://education.uoregon.edu/sites/default/files/character_questionaire_2018.pdf
You can find it under the following URL in the archived version of the site: https://olded.uoregon.edu/sites/default/files/character_questionaire_2018.pdf

If you are unsure of how to access the site via VPN remotely, you can find more information and guidance on accessing the VPN here:

Dear COE students, faculty, and staff,

We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new website for the College of Education (COE). This new website will be the hub for all prospective COE students to learn more about our programs here in the college, and will help us stand out among our peers. We invite all of you to check out the new website when it launches on Monday morning at the same URL that our current site uses today: education.uoregon.edu.

Please be aware that as a result of this new site design, many documents and resources that you regularly access on the current website will be relocated to other online locations over the course of several months. However, to ensure that you will be able to access any documents or information that you need during that time, we will be keeping our current/old website in archive at a new URL that we will distribute to you on Tuesday next week (February 19th).

Please also be on the lookout for more information from your COE program leadership in the coming months regarding these changes.
