Dear Faculty and Staff,

Last week, our faculty enjoyed a variety of media citations and new research award announcements.  Please see the opinion piece by Jenny Ruef in the San Francisco Chronicle, the description of Stephanie Shire and colleague's research demonstrating strong evidence of efficacy for improving communication skills of children with Autism, Ben Clarke's $2.5 Million new grant award from National Science Foundation, and Laura Lee McIntyre's new exploratory grant from the National Institution of Mental Health.

The National Institute of Mental Health funded a grant entitled, "Functional Connectivity in Developmental Delay: Shared Etiology and Differential Outcomes" to Laura Lee McIntyre and Fred Sabb
