coe-staff: New COE awards

Dear COE community,
Please join me in congratulating our colleagues on the following new awards and projects:

Phyllis Barkhurst and Jeff Todahl, at the Center for the Prevention of Abuse & Neglect, received three recent awards from the Ford Family Foundation for the following projects: a statewide evaluation of Stewards of Children sexual abuse prevention curriculum, 90by30 infrastructure and capacity building, and piloting the Roots of Empathy socio-emotional curriculum in Lane ESD classrooms.
Hank Fien, at the Center on Teaching & Learning, will receive 2018-2019 continuation funding from the U.S. Department of Education for the project, "National Comprehensive Center on Improving Literacy for Students with Disabilities."

Stephanie Wood, at the Center for Equity Promotion, will receive 2018-2019 funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities for the project, "Discovering Native Histories along the Lewis and Clark Trail."
