Educational Methodology, Policy, and Leadership (EMPL) is pleased to announce the following colloquium, part of this year's Baney Fund Speaker Series on Leadership:

"Leadership in the University"
Dr. Doneka Scott

When:  November 15 (Thursday) 12 noon - 1:30 pm
Location:  276 Lokey Education
Lunch will be served.

As part of EMPL's newly approved LEADS (Leadership + Administrative Skills) minor for UO undergraduates, three colloquia will be held this fall exploring leadership in the community, leadership in organizations, and leadership in the university. Sponsored by the Baney Fund Speaker Series (see poster attached), the third colloquium on November 15 will host Dr. Doneka Scott, University of Oregon Associate Vice Provost for Student Success. Dr. Scott will speak on the theme of leadership in universities and discuss her leadership journey, including her work in leading student success and student engagement initiatives.
