coe-staff: 2018 IHP COE update

Dear COE Faculty,

The Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs (OPAA) has released the 2018 Institutional Hiring Plan, which details all approved tenure-track faculty searches for the 2018-19 academic year. This year's plan authorizes 58 tenure-track faculty searches across the schools and colleges in the University.

In this time of scarce resources, the University was only able to fund about 40% of the new searches that were requested. The College of Education was approved to continue the two TTF searches that failed this year, and launch one additional search for a new faculty member who works in the area of mental health promotion in schools.  More details about these three searches will follow.
