Thank you for your ongoing partnership and collaboration to ensure there is a prepared and committed teacher in every New York City classroom at the start of the school year. Every year we look for great prospective teachers who are committed to sparking opportunity for our 1.1 million students.

We have two big updates we want to share:

·     Students who completed a NYC New Teacher Application in the past, but did not receive a position in the NYC DOE, must re-apply if they are interested in seeking a position in the NYC DOE for the upcoming school year.

·     Bronx Early Access Program Accepting Applications. The Bronx Early Access Program offers outstanding candidates the opportunity to exclusive job search supports. Candidates also have the opportunity to accept offers from Bronx principals for the 2019-20 school year starting in early Spring.
·     There is no separate application for the Bronx Early Access Program. In order to be considered for the opportunity, applicants must indicate their interest in the program on their Online Teacher Application when completing Step 3 of the New Teacher Application by the February 13th, 2019 deadline. Please promote this great opportunity to all of your students.
