coe-staff: Fifth-Year Dean Review - Randy Kamphaus

Dear UO College of Education Faculty and Staff,

As you may know, the UO conducts a fifth-year review of certain academic leaders, including deans. We are fortunate that Dean Randy Kamphaus has been with us for long enough to reach this milestone.

As this term concludes, I wanted to introduce you to the committee chair for Randy's review, provide a quick update on the process, and give you the link to a website that has more details and will remain updated throughout the process.

Juan-Carlos Molleda, dean of the School of Journalism and Communication, will chair the committee. The process will begin in earnest after the start of winter term, and you will be given the opportunity to provide feedback to the committee through an online survey tool. The survey will be emailed to you, but will also be available online at the web page about our AY19 fifth-year reviews<https://provost.uoregon.edu/fifth-year-dean-reviews-university-oregon-academic-year-2018-19>.

The website also includes the membership list for the committee, and I want to take this opportunity to thank your colleagues who volunteered their time for this important endeavor. I look forward to the committee's report, which is due to me on March 1, and thank you in advance for your thoughtful participation.
