I’ll be co-hosting the event with Alex Tang, UO junior, and Gordon (Nagayama Hall) will be speaking on Representation and Resistance in Asian American Mental Health.
And FYI, Joann Zhang, who is co-chairing this event, is an Educational Foundations alum and is now the Multicultural Academic Advisor & Asian and Pacific Islander Retention Specialist with CMAE & UO Advising.

Spring is here and we are excited to kick off Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) with our signature Awards Banquet! This year’s theme is “Representation and Resistance.” We will be honoring individuals from our Asian, Desi, and Pacific Islander (ADPI) community who have made outstanding contributions to increase the representation of our community and have resisted in ways in which society marginalizes ADPI individuals.

Our Awards Banquet will take place May 1st, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the EMU Ballroom.
