coe-staff: Our physical plant and footprint

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Have you ever wondered why we don't see each other every workday?  Have you ever wanted to know where our staff and faculty are located?  Have you ever found yourself curious about the amount of square footage that the COE occupies?  I realize that I'm probably the only one to experience these musings.

On a serious note, we are in the midst of short- and long-term space planning for the college.  We had our meeting with planning and facilities administrators last week (Eric, Chris, and I) to discuss needs for classrooms, maintenance, offices, lab space and the like to project future needs and make our case for all such requests.

Eric has done a great job of leading this effort the past couple of months with the help of Chris, Dianna and others.  I appreciate his, and their fine work.

On the chance that you want to see our "space footprint" it is attached.  Please note that the HART building is the new "HEDCO Autism Research and Training (HART) Center" (former YE-TAG building), a new service of the HEDCO clinic opened by Wendy Machalicek.

And there is one footnote provided by Eric.  The square footage listed is the amount of "assignable space" exclusive of equipment rooms, mechanical rooms and other spaces that are not "assignable."
