coe-staff: Gratitude to our students

Dear College of Education Students,

Thank you for making this year a rewarding one for all of us.  It was our distinct pleasure to watch you develop your competencies and mature as professionals.

For those of you graduating today we wish you safe and rewarding journeys, whether they involve a new job, graduate school, or other path of your choosing.

Please remember that we will remain here, continuing to expand academic excellence in teaching, research and service, improving student success for those that follow you, and forming an even stronger culture of academic achievement, inclusion, and equity.  The work we do here will continue to advance the value of your degree well into the future.  Yes, we are working for you long after your graduation.  So, please stay in touch.  Send us suggestions, comments, and criticisms that will improve our work on your behalf.  And please come back to visit often.  We are, after all, your lifelong community of scholars.

For students returning in the fall, we wish you some rest, or at least, diversion.  We will be spending the summer preparing for your arrival.
