Dear Faculty and Staff,

Please join me in congratulating Erin on her receipt of a new research grant from the National Center for Special Education Research (NCSER) of the Institute of Education Sciences.

>From the abstract;

"PTIPS EdTech: Developing Professional Development and Online Applications to Support Team-Initiated Problem Solving (TIPS) within Multi-Tiered Support SystemsTopic ... a four-year project to develop a suite of online training materials and tools that will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of school teams to use academic and
behavioral data for decision-making... the TIPS EdTech suite of tools, which includes TIPS Online Training and TIPS Meeting Application (TIPS MApp). TIPS MApp will serve both to keep a record of meetings and provide prompts and guidance to assist with implementation of the TIPS Model. Use of the TIPS EdTech suite, TIPS Online Training and TIPS MApp will save training and meeting time and increase the effectiveness of the meetings."
