coe-staff: Governor's State Employees Food Drive

COE Colleagues -

The 2017 Governor's State Employees Food Drive begins today and will continue through the month of February. I hope you will join me in supporting Food for Lane County (FFLC) to help those in need in our community. There are several ways to contribute:


*       Bring in nutritious, non-perishable food items to donate to the collection barrels around the COE. Barrels will be located in EMPL, ECS, and the Hedco lobby. Attached is a list of suggested foods.


*       Purchase a bag of Euphoria Chocolate hearts for $4; $2 of each purchase goes directly to FFLC. Chocolate is available at Jennifer's desk in EMPL.


*       Donate money (even just your loose change!) to the FFLC collection jars located around the COE.


*       Make a tax-deductible donation in any amount with cash, payroll deduction, or check made out to Food for Lane County. The Direct Deposit Authorization form is attached - please turn these in to me rather than sending directly to Payroll so your department gets credit for participating.



*       Meet the Governor's Challenge by donating $144 through a one-time cash donation or a one-time or recurring payroll deduction. Donating $12 per month provides approximately 430 meals throughout the year!
