The talk will focus on supports for caregivers through caregiver-mediated intervention, advancing implementation science through community intervention deployment studies, and the development of assessment and intervention tools specifically for use in underserved communities.



Stephanie Shire is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Psychiatry at the University of California Los Angeles. Her research interests focus on the development of community-based intervention programming for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Specifically, she is interested in examining the real world effectiveness of psychosocial intervention practices and parent training/supports for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities especially, those children and families who are under served both in North America and internationally.
