I am delighted to announce the arrival of Katherine Donaldson - your new Education Librarian!

Katherine was most recently Librarian-in-Residence at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she has worked since 2014, and prior to that time, served in consecutive positions as the Special Projects Librarian and Online Learning Assistant for the University of Washington.

Here is a quick list of things she can assist you with:


*         Want to suggest books or DVDs?

*         Thinking of a new program or area? Want to know if we have the materials to support it?

*         Students need some research guidance?  Want a class presentation?

*         Candidate interviews - want tour of Library?

*         Writing a grant?

I don't want to steal any of Katherine's thunder but I would like to take a paragraph to thank you for a wonderful experience being your subject specialist - 30 years went by so fast!  I have told Katherine she could not ask to be affiliated with better program - the COE faculty, students, and staff have always been so warm, welcoming, and a personal and intellectual delight to work with.  I will still be around - continuing to serve as subject specialist for Linguistics and Language Teaching, Foundation Database consultant, and EndNote contact as well adding my new role as Head of Research & Instructional Services.
