Are you interested in the topic of conservatorships? particularly in regards to adults with disabilities? Please join us for this free colloquium on January 4th (flyer attached). This event is open to all faculty, students, staff, and community members.

Disability Rights Oregon Presentation on Guardianships, Conservatorships,and Supported Decision-Making
January 4th, 2017 from Noon-1:00PM, 230T HEDCO Light Refreshments

As a child development clinician, special education practitioner, or attorney, do you feel prepared to answer parents' questions concerning the need for guardianships and/or conservatorships for their children?

Bob Joondeph, attorney and Director of Disability Rights Oregon (the state's designated protection and advocacy agency for individuals with developmental disabilities) will present on this topic.Mr. Joondephis a leader in the development of Oregon's current law on guardianships and conservatorships and has years of experience with supported decision-making in legal proceedings.

Child development clinicians, educators, lawyers, and students as well as interested parents are welcome to attend.
