Do you want to be a more effective faculty advisor, instructor, supervisor, or ally?  Do you want to facilitate meaningful, inclusive classroom conversations involving diversity and equity?  Do you want to better support students of color in your program?



The College of Education's Student Diversity Affairs Committee invites you to attend Needed Conversations: Supporting African American/Black Graduate Students in the Classroom and Beyond.  This event will feature African American/Black College of Education graduate students from each Department who will share their experiences studying at the UO and living in Eugene, and the advising, mentoring, and program supports that help them persist and excel.  Please join us Friday, November 18th, 1-2pm, in HEDO 220. Light refreshments provided.
