This week is Coming Out Week, October 10-14. The College is proud to co-sponsor LGBTQ Duck activities to celebrate. A complete list of events can be found on the UO calendar at https://calendar.uoregon.edu/ and events are listed below?.

Coming Out Week Opening Reception
3:00 PM to 4:30 PM in the LGBTQA3 Office (EMU 22)
Stop by the LGBTQA3 office to get a sweet treat, relax, and meet other LGBTQIA+ students!
Tuesday, October 11th - NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY!
Coming Out Week Festival
10:00 to 5:00 PM in the EMU Green
Come to the EMU Green to take a picture with the traditional Coming Out Door, hop around in the bouncy castle, get painted in rainbows and glitter, contribute to our community art project, and show that you are loud and proud to be queer/trans identified or an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community!
Tangerine Film Screening
7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Straub 145
We are hosting a screening of the acclaimed film, Tangerine, along with a Q&A session with one of the film's producers, Darren Dean. Tangerine focuses on the experiences of two trans women of color in LA.
Wednesday, October 12th
Graduate and Non-Traditional LGBTQIA+ Student Meet'N'Greet
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the LGBTQA3 Office (EMU 22)
LGBTQIA+ identified graduate and nontraditional students, along with those who identify as allies, are invited to join us in the LGBTQA3 space for light refreshments and socializing.
Thursday, October 13th
Cherríe Moraga: Lorwin Lecture on Civil Rights & Civil Liberties
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Crater Lake Room (EMU 146)
The Center for the Study of Women in Society is hosting esteemed and iconic Chicana writer, feminist activist, poet, essayist, and playwright Cherríe Moraga as their keynote speaker for the Lorwin Lecture on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.
Queering the Bedroom
7:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the LGBTQA# Office (EMU 22)
Join us as we get real and talk about Queer Sex! This session is designed to challenge the concept of "traditional sexual relationships". The workshop will be presented and discussed through an intentionally queer lens.
Friday, October 14th
Queeraoke and Lip Sync
8:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the EMU
It's like karaoke, but queer! Join the LGBTQA3 to celebrate the end of Coming Out Week as we get down to some of our favorite songs in an LGBTQIA+ friendly space. Come as you are, sing, lip sync, or listen, and dance if you feel so inspired!
