coe-staff: Parking permits 2016/2017

Hello everyone it is that exciting time of year again....when you renew or purchase a new parking permit.

Some quick facts for this year's permits are as follows:

  *   Faculty/staff permits for 2016-17 are $432 for 12 month and $324 for 9 month permits, (available online starting 9/12/16 and those purchased online do not require a departmental signature).
  *   All permit orders submitted by Thursday, September 22nd will be sent to and distributed by your area parking coordinator.
  *   All paper applications are due to the transportation department NO LATER than September 20th.  Paper applications are required for reserved, car pool, foundation and department parking permits.
  *   Carpool permits are $204 for 12 months
  *   Motorcycle permits are available either as add-ons to your regular automotive permit or as stand-alone permits
  *   Permits may be purchased using cash, check, credit card or payroll deduction.  (Those enrolling in payroll deduction after 10/1/16 will be required to pay for their first month at time of purchase.
  *   Please note that 2016/2017 parking permits are not effective until 9/30/16.
  *   A permit does not guarantee a parking space.

Please notify your Area Parking Coordinator if you will be renewing or purchasing a new parking permit, by no later than September 9th.  You do not need to purchase the permit by 9/9/16, but you do need to notify your area coordinator that you plan on renewing or purchasing a permit.  Your coordinator will answer any questions you may have concerning the process.  All permit applications are available on the UO Parking and Transportation website (http://parking.uoregon.edu).  Forms have been updated so please be sure to use the current versions, (online application forms are fillable forms).
