Please take note of the message below. Information Services is announcing an automatic update to the Cisco AnyConnect Virtual Private Networking (VPN) client for desktop and laptop computers.

Subject: deptcomp: UO VPN software upgrade begins May 4

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday, May 4) around 6:30am, UO VPN's software (Cisco AnyConnect) will update itself after you log in with your Duck ID and password.

During the upgrade, the software will pop up a small window with the message, "The AnyConnect Downloader is installing AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 4.2.03013. Please wait...." The upgrade should take no more than five minutes.

The installer at https://uovpn.uoregon.edu will also be updated.
