Dear Colleagues,


Please join us on Friday, February 12th from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the University of Oregon's Lokey Hall, Room 117.  We are pleased to welcome Beverly Funderburk, Ph.D. and Vicki  Cook, M.Ed. who will present a talk on Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) entitled, "PCIT: Ready or Not."   PCIT is an evidence-based treatment specifically for children with oppositional and defiant behaviors, and that reduces child abuse recidivism in Child Welfare involved families.

Dr. Funderburk is an Associate Professor of Research at the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect in the University of the Oklahoma Health Sciences Center's Department of Pediatrics.

Both are Master Trainers in the University of Oklahoma's national training program for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
